Elfin Lakes offers 2 outdoor picnic tables, a day use shelter with 4 picnic tables, counters, 4 propane burners, 2 wash sinks, a propane heater, propane lights, and pit toilet facilities.

there is 14 Tent and room in the hut for 34 spots 10 double bunks and 14 single beds... first come first serve.... i have some other stuff to post
ReplyDeleteI'm thinking it's gonna be busy that weekend, we probably won't get the hut. Are we planning on doing this part of the hike on Friday after driving there from Kelowna?
ReplyDeleteEven If we get out of Kelowna on time..... i think we should almost be prepared to possibly camp at the trail head.... quite a few variables...... (Speed limit est.)Kelowna -> Horshoe Bay.... 5 hrs'ish?!? So 10:00 AM at the Bay... 1/2 hr to an hour to meet with Morty (depends if he is waiting for us or vise versa) then Aprox 1.5 hrs? so Trail head i guess about 12:00?!? Lunch? then 6 hrs up.... so 6:00 PM..... Mad rush to get Dinner + set up camp while still Daylight.... i guess it is do able... alot of variables, at least Morty is a walk on.
