Mortey's input

If you guys can give me an ETA, I can be there at any time; BC Ferries has extra runs on Friday. The Upperlevels Hwy. runs right past Horseshoe Bay. Also, I can make room in my kit for beer. I figure between booze and first aid, everyone will have an interest in my well being. Question: has any one thought to call the park to see if reservations are needed? If not, bring alot of batteries for flashlights, cause campfire ban is in effect pretty much everywhere on the coast and in some cases that includes those tire rims they use for firepits in the parks. If anyone can think of anything else they want me to bring or make room for, let me know.

  3. The trip from Kelowna to Horseshoe Bay is at least 5 hours, there is no way we're going to be there by 9 or 10. That's about when we'll be finally organised and leaving Kelowna :)
How far are you from the terminal, Morty?
Maybe we could call you from Hope, give you a 2.5 hour heads up.

  5. Merritt's good. but if it takes more than 4.5 from Kelowna to horseshoe, you need to get either a new car or a new driver. i've done it in 4. do the slow-ass tourist thing on the way back!and what the fuck do you mean you don't own a flash light, ains? i'm broke and i still have so many i'm throwing some out! $10 @ crappy tire, probably less @ princess.
