Hey Joel, I'm in, just got the vacation sched from work and I have the Friday off. Doesn't matter to me where we go, as long as we meet in a central location first:) I'm looking forward to the kootneys, knowing this time will be better than the last. Do we have a 'to do' list from previous years, that we can look at and delegate who is doing what? Let me know where I can help. Morty, if you're coming out this year, we can go together in my truck, I'll pick you up from the ferry.
Great to hear from you Jon! Deffinatly the central meeting place is a must, we can pick that once we narrow it down where we are going. I am not sure of the "to do list but i will see what i can find. Are you going to be on the coast this time? or are you now? Helping to get Morty off that island and inland a bit would be huge... How is it looking MOrty?
Yeah, I'm living back in Burnaby now, so it'll be no problem picking up Morty and shooting up there. I'm planning to come up to K-town for a visit one of these weekends, probably last one of June or the first one in July, if everyones going to be around for a pow wow, we can go over some of this stuff
Hey Jon, sorry i thought i had replied to this after i read it.... oops anyways I think i got some good ideas to throw on the table for a couple different situations..... on that note no, i don't have a list.... i think there might be a Inventory list somewhere...... maybe on this blog. As far as Morty goes i did talk to him, He never said anything to say he was not comeing, speaking of things to do and where we would go... so i think that should be the plan.... I will be gone the last week of June to help my little bro move... so let me know when you are coming into town.... hopefully i will be here, i am leaving i think maybe sunday.. bye for now
Ok, so that would mean coming on the July 10 weekend which is only 3 weeks before we go, so maybe I won't bother. See how I feel and how busy work is, I'll let you know.
Yeah too bad I missed you Rob, that would have been cool to hang out for a couple of days. So what's the plan? Has there been any discussion amonst you K-town boys about what's happening? I have to go to Edmonton on the 23rd, so I won't be going to Kelowna until the 29th or 30th depending on Morty. Let me know what I need to do or bring...
Okay Lady and gentlemen.... I have a plan Small details to work out, but it will have to do. I make a new post ASAP with details of the plan; till then, things to consider: 1) Camping at Rec site 2) 2 hikes 3) More breathtaking vistas then most people see.... well most of there lives
