Isn't that crazy, Have any one done the math recently? crazy!
Anyways, I have been wanting to do some Grand Post with lots of details of each hike.. Km Camping? possible Peaks, and alternatives
Well we might as well wait for the cows to come home.... so i am putting this on to stimulate conversation.....
I have been thinking that it is only right that we re-visit the Valhalla's.... Lucifer..... well...... we have talked of the taint that marred that trip, it just didn't end up right... for most. So On that Note i think that it should be Priority 1.. whether we re-visit Gwillem lakes, or go one valley over.

I am speaking of Mulvey Basin.....

Asgard: http://www.bivouac.com/MtnPg.asp?MtnId=2745 (possible peak)
Midgard: http://www.bivouac.com/MtnPg.asp?MtnId=2746 (might be a possible peak)

Please comment or add some other ideas.....
ReplyDeletetick..... tock.,.....
I also meant to mention potential hikes in the Jumbo area (north-east of Kaslo) near Duncan Lake.... i will be getting more Info to add soon.... just been busy like everyone else......
ReplyDeletebut if anyone has any spare time please feel free to do some research and maybe through what you got up on a post....
i wont be able to make it this trip due to joel and i are pregnant again. hope you guys get some planning done :P and have a good trip
ReplyDeleteMulvey looks good, the lake doesn't look very big until you see a picture with someone beside it. You guys have been up there and know the challenge vs our limitations, so I will leave it up to you to decide which we go to. I'm not in as good of shape this year as last, having said that I guess I could put out my cigar and go for a run....
ReplyDeleteoh and congrats Joel and Laura on being preggers again
ReplyDeleteLast year i came out of the trip being really excited about how well everyone did and just all around smooth running.... even the camp on the side of the road went well...... now that there has been a response, i will actually get off my but and put some info on.... in mulvey Basin depending on weather it might be challanging for a full peak.... Asgard would be "the best bet" Gimli peak also do-able.... but well i will explain l8r why not practical... up for debate in anycase
ReplyDeleteoh yah thanks. bit much to get a weekend to myself.. but its worked so far ;)
ReplyDeleteThe Valhalla's must be conquered by all. Mulvey Basin is great. As to the peak whichever any would be good. That said lucifer is probably less exciting for Joel, Jeremy & Rob. I vote any peak but that one.
